“Welcome to Kachchh District Table Tennis Association”
“KDTTA was established in the year 1984. It is affiliated with Gujarat State Table Tennis Association (GSTTA), with the object of developing and promoting the game of table tennis in the District of Kachchh.”
KDTTA, which was hitherto a defunct body, was revived in 1999 under the leadership of Shri Vipul Mittra, IAS, who is presently the President of both the KDTTA as well as GSTTA.
Ever since KDTTA got its new lease of life, it has conducted plethora of District, State and National level tournaments and coaching camps. The objective of KDTTA has been to give ample exposure to the young and budding talents of the District and give them a platform for honing their skills so as to excel at the State, National and International level.
KDTTA had during its earlier years struggled to find a permanent place for providing infrastructural facilities, as it did not have a Stadium or Centre of its own. In this backdrop, the role of Sindhu Resettlement Corporation Ltd. (SRC) cannot be undermined, as they played an important role by allotting 1.21 acres of land at Adipur for construction of Sports Complex. The foundation stone laying ceremony of the stadium was held on 16th September 2008 and it was inaugurated on 16th January 2013.
In this state-of-the-art Stadium that KDTTA has set up, in the first phase, facilities for indoor games such as Table Tennis and Shuttle Badminton were provided. The Indoor Stadium has Synthetic flooring which is of international standards. Presently, both table tennis and badminton are being played in this stadium. In the second phase, three Lawn Tennis 
clay-courts were set up, which attracted lot of sports-loving enthusiasts. Six room accommodation and a conference Hall has been set up.
Skating rink for children was set up, which has seen a huge response from the young kids. Later on, the three Tennis clay-courts were converted into 7-layer synthetic courts, which have attracted overwhelming response from the tennis players of the region. .A refreshment center has also been provided. A Swimming pool and Yoga has also started to cater and satiate the ever-increasing demand of the sports-loving populace.
